KF-ANTI-SQUEAK
KF- ANTI-SQUEAK is designed specifically to counter brake squeal, brake squeal is not caused explicity by the contact of the pad and the rotor. Rather, brake squeal is caused by micro-vibrations in the pad as a result of extremely high frequency “ catching and slipping “ of the pad against the rotor. Application of KF-ANTI-SQUEAK counters this phenomenon. It is very important that the spray be applied on the back of the brake pads, and not on the pad material.
DIRECTION FOR USE:
- Remove front wheels / rear wheels.
- Now, remove the caliper bolts and the caliper from the caliper carrier.
- Now remove the piston from the cylinder followed by the piston seal.
- Clean the piston and cylinder using brake cleaner. Apply the Brake Cleaner wherever necessary.
- Apply Anti-Squeal Spray to the back of the inner pad and onto the piston outer surface where it contacts the pad. Apply a couple of coats over all the surface including the outer pads. Allow it to dry to a tacky finish in about 10 minutes.
- After drying start reassembly by the reverse procedure clean the Caliper pin thoroughly and grease the same before installation back into the Caliper carrier.
- Tighten pin bolts and the flexible hose.
- Install E-ring to the strut. Put the wheel back in after completion fill the brake fluid in the reservoir and bleed air from brake system perform brake best and check each part for fluid leakage .
